Near Perfect Universal Mount
This was my first every Projector installation and i chose this over numerous others because this mount seemed to have multiple axis caliberation options and i was right.The mount itself is nice and compact - good quality and very sturdy. I mounted Optoma HD20 - It took me a few mins to figure out how to align the base clamps to fit the 3 mounting holes under HD20 (Had to reverse one of the inner clamps) and it fit perfect.I think in the earlier reviews, where ever the reviewers have mentioned that assembly was required or it did not fit the projector right out of the box - well - its a universal mount, and YOU have to figure out how best to utilize it.All the bolts/hardware needed for my installation care right out of the box. After aligning and tightening the screws, there is no projector shift or movement. I rate this product 5 stars.

Scary-looking but very easy to install
The 'universal' tag line means there's some adjusting to do, but it's not too complicated and the box contains every type of screw and fitting imaginable. Projector installed in a record 30 minutes!

You get MORE for your money with this one!
I bought this mount after reading the reviews and was a little edgy about it because of the "one star" review i read that said it might just drop from the ceiling...Well before i hung my projector from it I ACTUALLY GRABBED ONTO IT AND HUNG WITH THE FULL 140LBS OF MY BODY WEIGHT AND IT SLIPPED ABOUT 1/4" AND THEN CAUGHT. I noticed that if you turn the sliding height adjustment bar upside down it will slip off SO MAKE SURE YOU PUT THAT BAR ON THE RIGHT WAY (try it both ways, the right one will be obvious) If you install it correctly you REALLY CANT BEAT THIS FOR THE MONEY. It is a must that you be somewhat mechanically inclined..if your unsure, have a friend on hand for second opinions and to help you hold everything steady. Once its up its easy to make adjustments and it looks sweet!

Reliable Mount for Optoma HD66
This is a good ceiling projector mount especially for the price. It took me two hours to find a way to make it work for the HD66 but after I messed around with it a bit it fit perfectly and securely. If you have the HD66 look at the picture I added and it will make your life a lot easier when it comes to attaching the mount onto the projector. You will definitely not use all of the parts in the package. After I attached it to the projector the rest was simple.

Well-designed and precisely manufactured
I initially got a cheap no-brand mounting kit for my new Epson 8350, but its mounting arms didn't quite reach the holes at the bottom of the monitor. I bought this Epson branded mount instead, and I was really pleasantly surprised. The mount is really well designed and setting it up was intuitive and easy. The parts are clearly very precisely manufactured, and fit together like a charm. The materials are solid, sturdy, and light, and once you tighten the screws, the mount feels rock solid.The only negative I have found is that making fine adjustments to the position of the projector require you to turn a screw that is sandwiched between the ceiling and the projector and is kind of hard to get to. The upside is that the adjustment mechanism is really sturdy and allows full rotation of the projector in every direction.My ceiling is so high that the image ends up being slightly skewed despite cranking the lens tilting controls on my projector all the way down. Very solid projector mount. Great value for the money.
This is one of the better projector mounts on the market and a great value for the price. It's made of steel and is very sturdy. It includes everything you need in the box including varying sizes of mounting screws for the projector, hardware for mounting to the ceiling, drywall anchors, plastic feet for recessed mounting screws, allen wrenches, etc. It took me less than an hour to mount this on my ceiling.I have an Epson Home Cinema 400 projector and my main problem was finding a mount on the market that could handle the wide width between the mounting screws ( ~13" apart diagonally). This mount provides 4 different lengths of mounting leg sets (2 each for a total of 8) that should fit most projectors. I needed another set of the longest legs so I called the Atdec customer service number. They immediately sent them to me in the mail for free!The minimum drop from the ceiling on this model is 15.7" so if you have 8 foot ceilings, this may hang the...

It works well enough I guess
I was installing a projector in a theater room with a drop ceiling so I could not use the standard mount, I needed something that would extend down from the joist above.Mounting to the joist presented no real problems. However, the lengths of the extension poles were very problematic for the height at which I needed the projector. The increments of adjustment are not fine enough and it wouldn't seem difficult to engineer a mechansim that is infinitely variable.Attaching the projector was a bit clumsy as well. I found the extension arms too bulky to easily move them where I needed. The pitch and roll adjustments work well but unlike what was advertised or shown in the installation illustrations, there is no horizontal shift adjustment on the mount I received. Thankfully I had it very well centered. Finally, the cable management system is sub-par. flexible installation and secure mounting
I used this to mount my projector to my vaulted (angled) ceiling. It uses a clever radial design that should allow you to use it with just about any projector. Screwing it into the rafters, I'm confident that it could hold more than the specified 33lbs. (I wouldn't recommend exceeding the limit if screwing into drywall or masonry)You may find it difficult to route cables through the tube if they have ferrite cores or large connectors. Also, some of the included bolts weren't of the highest quality (heads not perfectly square, etc).Overall I'm very satisfied with the projector mount. It was pretty easy to install and it's very stable.

Works for my projector
The vetical distance is fixed. It took me sometime to mount it on behind the tile ceiling, especially when truning the biggest nut to the thread to hook up the lower part with projector to upper part. Hand space is limited because of the tile ceiling.

good, but projector will slip a little
Disclaimer: this is the only ceiling mount I've ever bought or used. I've installed a lot of things in my life and in my house, but this is the only projector mount. My impression is that it's as easy or slightly easier than average.You ideally want two people, because it helps with:1. making sure the pilot holes you're drilling into the ceiling joist are all around straight from all viewing angles2. standing beneath the one on the ladder, supporting the projector from below when it's finally being attached, because it very likely will slip and fall a little at some point, and it's amazing how useless this mount is with a smashed projector3. understanding the slightly too cryptic instructionsOther random advice: Boy oh boy are joists skinnier than wall studs. And you don't want to screw into the edge of one and only discover this when the mount takes the weight.We were lucky - we had two test holes which missed the joist, but...

I bought this mount for a viewsonic projector and it works great. It comes with lots of hardware for different situations. It was easy to figure out and is adjustable in every direction. Don't spend more money on a mount than this. It works great. It does provide space for one thin cord to go up through the mount not more. FYI.

eHot Universal Projector Ceiling Mount
Packaged very well with all the bolts and screws needed for multiple types of Projector mounts. The metal is thin and you could possibly twist the extention arm with just a little more force. On the description it mention that it can be used for vaulted ceiling, this is why I bought it but its false. This mount is for flat ceiling if you will be using the extention arm. But I used it anyway. So I have the arm at a 15% angle brining the projector more forward but turned out to be an almost perfect position. In hind sight I should've bought the other type of mount which is made for vaulted ceiling.
